Fit

Designed for Smart Doll-style fashion dolls. Fit may vary slightly depending on the doll’s head shape, wig cap, and any previous styling materials used on the doll. For optimal placement, gently position the wig from front to back and adjust the braids carefully around the face. Handmade wigs are created from individualized synthetic fibers unless otherwise stated and glued onto a handmade, painted wig cap. Handmade wigs are made for either the standard or pear-shaped dolls, and braided wigs are made for a specific skin tone. Unlike typical machine-sewn wigs, handmade wigs do not stretch or have elastic in them. They are attached to a Smart Doll’s head like a hat.

Care instructions

Please do not comb afro-wigs. Handle gently and avoid excessive brushing, pulling, or combing, especially through the Afro-textured sections. Use fingers or a wide, gentle touch to adjust the shape. Keep away from moisture, heat, oils, and styling products. Do not immerse wigs in water.

Shipping/processing

Each piece is handmade in the U.S.A. and may require processing time before shipment from North Carolina. Wigs are mailed in boxes and are carefully prepared; each wig comes with a ball of tissue to help protect its shape during transit. Minor variations in texture, braid placement, and color distribution are normal and part of the handmade finish.
